Instant Pot Marmite Mash | Slimming & Weight Watchers Friendly

This Instant Pot Marmite Mash recipe adds a savoury bang to your plate, with only 3 ingredients needed! Thanks to the magic of your pressure cooker, this one’s fluffed up and ready to serve in just 9 minutes. It’s a gorgeous way to liven up potato-topped pies, or it works really well as a side dish with all kinds of tasty mains.

Equipment

  • Pressure Cooker
  • masher

Ingredients

  • 800 g potatoes peeled and quartered
  • 1 tbsp Marmite
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Place the potatoes into the pressure cooker and cover with cold water and a pinch of salt.
  • Place and lock the lid into place and set the valve to sealed. Set to manually pressure cook for 9 minutes.
  • Once 9 minutes is done, turn the vent to release the pressure.
  • Once pressure has released, drain the water and add the Marmite to the potatoes. Mash until creamy and add salt and pepper, to taste. It may not need much salt due to the Marmite, so add a little at a time.
