Marmite Mash | Slimming & Weight Watchers Friendly

We’ve taken spuds to a whole new level with this banging Marmite Mash recipe! A gorgeous, savoury side dish or pie topper, there’s no question that you’ll love it, no matter what role it plays on your plate. It’s also ridiculously easy to make with only 3 ingredients!

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • masher

Ingredients

  • 800 g peeled and quartered
  • 1 tbsp Marmite
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Place the potatoes in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Season the cooking water with salt.
  • On the stove bring the pan to the boil. Reduce the heat so it is gently boiling for 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are cooked through and tender.
  • Remove from the heat, drain the water and add the marmite to the potatoes. Mash until creamy and add salt and pepper, to taste. It may not need much salt due to the marmite, so add a little at a time!
